The capital city of Bangladesh will host the 18th edition of the Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition from February 1–4.
According to BTMA President Muhammad Ali Khokon, the exhibition is being co-organized by Yorkers Trade & Marketing Services Co Ltd and the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA). This information was shared during a press conference on Monday at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel.
The International Convention City at Bashundhara Dhaka will host the five-day event.
Khokon stated that the gas situation is making it difficult for textile factories to maintain production. According to him, there was a 40% decrease in production in the main industrial belts.
