On the third working day of the week, the country’s main stock market, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended trading with mixed reactions in the price index. The trading volume in taka terms increased slightly on the DSE today. This information was revealed by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.
According to sources, on Tuesday (December 10), the main index of DSE ‘DSEX’ fell by 1.14 points. The index is currently at 5,166 points.
In addition, another index of DSE ‘DSES’ rose by 42 points to 1,154 points and the ‘DS-30’ index fell by 43 points to 1,903 points.
Shares and units worth Tk 3,834.73 crore were traded on the DSE today. The previous working day, Tk 2,786.6 crore was traded.
A total of 405 shares and units of companies changed hands on the DSE on Tuesday. Among the institutions participating in the transaction, the prices of 185 companies increased, while the prices of 147 companies decreased. In addition, the share and unit prices of 73 companies remained unchanged.
