The Chairman of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) board of directors Salim Uddin has been elected the President of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) for 2024 on Sunday, reads a press release.

Mahtab Uddin Ahmed and Akhtaruzzaman were elected Vice-Presidents. For the same committee S.M. Zahir Uddin Haider and Abdul Matin Patwary were elected Secretary and Treasurer of the Institute, respectively.

Salim Uddin is currently working as a Professor in the Accounting Department of the University of Chittagong. He is also working as the Chairman of the Union Bank Ltd.
