After more than 4 months, the tourist centers of Cox’s Bazar are opening on a limited scale from August 17. The decision was taken at a meeting of the District Corona Prevention Committee organized through a zoom conference on Wednesday night.
According to the deputy commissioner, it has been decided to open hotels, motels, restaurants, entertainment centers and other institutions involved in the tourism industry on a trial basis from August 17. However, strict hygiene and physical distance must be followed.
Cox’s Bazar tourist destinations were closed from March 26 due to the corona. Meanwhile, after Eid, Cox’s Bazar beach has become popular among tourists. Thousands of tourists are flocking to the beach every day. Hygiene is not being obeyed.
