Ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election and Referendum–2026, a meeting for exchange of views was held yesterday at 11:30 am at the auditorium of the Bangladesh Election Commission’s Khulna Regional Office.
The meeting was organised by the Khulna Regional Election Office with representatives of the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council and the Puja Udjapan Parishad, Khulna Metropolitan unit, from the Khulna-3 parliamentary constituency.
The meeting was chaired by Regional Election Officer and Returning Officer of Khulna-3 constituency, Faisal Kader.
Speakers at the meeting included Birendranath Ghosh, president of the Unity Council’s metropolitan unit; Prashanta Kumar Kundu, general secretary of the Puja Udjapan Parishad; former Controller of the Jessore Education Board Madhab Chandra Rudra; Ashutosh Sadhu; Rajat Kanti Das; Ajay Kumar Dey, among others.
Those present included vice-president of the Unity Council Sukhamoy Biswas; poet and journalist Ananda Kumar Swar; Sagar Saha; Ujjal Saha; Satyoranjan Poddar; Mintu Pal; Chinmoy Saha; Udaynath Munshi; Indrajit Roy; and from the Puja Udjapan Parishad—Bishwajit Dey Mithu, Robin Mitra, Shyamal Das, Ratan Debnath, Prakash Adhikari, Dipak Dutta, among others.
