Beloved “Moin Sir,” breathed his last at Joypurhat residence

Joypurhat district bade farewell to the revered senior teacher, Alhaj Mohammad Moinuddin, who peacefully passed away at the age of 81 at his residence near PDB in the city.
The community came together on Tuesday afternoon for his Janaza at the Khanjanpur Khanka Sharif Hafeji Madrasa grounds, followed by his burial in the adjacent graveyard.
A distinguished mathematics teacher at Khanjanpur High School, a centenary educational institution in Joypurhat, Moin Uddin was a respected figure in the educational landscape in the remote North Bengal town.
Moin Uddin was the son-in-law of Maulana Tofazzal Haque, who is the offspring of late Hazrat Shah Sufi Sayemuddin Vidyabinod, a spiritual leader.
Moin’s eldest daughter Khurshid Jahan Mafrauha is a former MD of Panchagarh Sugar Mill and a current high-ups at the BSFIC, under the Ministry of Industries. His 2nd daughter, Ishrat Jahan Dilruba, is the editor of Bangladesh’s pioneering food magazine, Swadkahon and also the Chairperson at research organization, Thoughts and Thorough and youngest daughter is Nushrat Jahan Munni. Khurram Murad, his only son, works as manager at Petrobangla.
