Tourist City Cox Bazar witnessed double decker bus today

Teknaf correspondent: BRTC’s double-decker city bus service has been launched for the first time in the tourist city Cox’s Bazar (www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g667467-Activities-Cox_s_Bazar_Chittagong_Division.html). Even if the buses are named tourist buses, locals can also travel. Double-decker buses will run regularly from the railway station to Shahid Samari Mor, i.e. Ghungachtala.

According to sources, a bus has 75 seats. From the railway station of the Tourist City Cox Bazar, the fare will be Tk 15 per person from Dolphin Mor, Sugandha Mor, Tk 20, Labni Mor, Tk 25, Holiday Mor, Tk 30 and Ghungachtala Tk 35. The buses were full of passengers on the first day. Passengers are of the opinion that the violence of auto drivers will be reduced through such government services.

Passengers said that if they want to go to Dolphin Junction from the railway station, the auto-walker asks for a fare of Tk 150-200. Which is very expensive. This service of BRTC is a very good initiative. We welcome such initiatives.

Executive Magistrate (Tourism Cell) of Cox’s Bazar District Administration Mohammad Masud Rana said that the service has been launched by the Cox’s Bazar District Administration so that there is no inconvenience to the passengers of the train. Where tourists can travel to Cox’s Bazar city at a nominal price. Besides, BRTC’s open-top bus service is also starting soon on Marine Drive road in Cox’s Bazar.
