A Bangladeshi IT company led India, Nepal, Bhutan and Kenyan government automation process through its expertise and dedication.
The company, “TigerIT.Com” developed voter registration system, biometric immigration system, e-passport, criminal database, border control, life insurance, access control, high security driving license.
“TigerIT provides end-to-end credential management solutions for government and state agencies. It combines state of the art solution design, robust back-end systems with efficient project management in a single turnkey solution for national IT infrastructure undertakings,” the company in its website said.
TigerIT also provides highly specialized system integration including identity governance, Enterprise Single Sign-On, identity and access management solutions to large organizations like banks, telecom companies and multinational companies.
The company processed 1 million e-Passports of Kenya with (10 fingerprints each) and facial recognition software for up to 100K gallery size with Kenyan National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
It also provided the biometric identity management system for 3 million citizens of Bhutan with Department of Immigration, Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs, Royal Government of Bhutan.
Tiger IT however, provided RSBY (Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna), a free health insurance scheme launched by Ministry of Labor and Employment, India in collaboration with German Development Cooperation (GIZ). Under the scheme every family below poverty line (BPL) gets a biometric based smart card with 300 million records.
The company also deployed an end-to-end suspect identification and verification system for 58 operational locations of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). “RAB’s criminal database was automated with multi-modal biometrics, across all of its 20 branches by TigerIT with a secure online and offline data transfer, AFIS system for 200,000 records, customized Query,” a company high official said.
TigerIT also implemented a new identity management system for Robi using the Oracle Identity Management and provided identity access management of GrameenPhone.
