British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company, a listed company in the capital market, has declared dividend for the financial year ended December 31, 2024. The company will pay 150 percent cash dividend to shareholders for the year in question.

The decision regarding the dividend was taken after reviewing and approving the audited financial report of the latest financial year in the company’s board of directors meeting held on Wednesday (February 5). This information was revealed by DSE sources.

According to the source, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) in the latest year was 32 taka 42 paisa, which was 33 taka 11 paisa in the previous year.

The company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) as of December 31, 2024 was 106 taka 88 paisa.

The company’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on March 25. The record date for this has been set for February 26.
