Bangladesh Bank, Shahjalal Islami Bank signs participation agreement

A participation agreement was signed between Bangladesh Bank and Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC on Tuesday at the Jahangir Alam Conference Hall of Bangladesh Bank’s Head Office to provide investment facilities in the export and manufacturing industries under “Bangladesh Bank-Long Term Financing Facility (BB-LTFF)”.

In the presence of Bangladesh Bank’s Deputy Governor Nurun Nahar, the Managing Director and CEO (current charge) of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Abdul Aziz, and the Director of Bangladesh Bank’s Financial Sector Support and Strategic Planning Department, Mrs. Liza Fahmida, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Among others, the Additional Managing Director and COO of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Akhter Hossain, was also present on the occasion.
