Anwar Landmark’s founder chairman gets honor from DSCC

Anwar Landmark’s founder chairman, Anwar Hossain, has been honored with the “Mayor’s Award” by Dhaka South City Corporation. The honor went to him through a special commemoration ceremony held in Kara Convention Hall, Dhaka, on Saturday, according to a press release.

Mr. Anwar Hossain, the founder and chairman of Anwar Group of Industries, was the pioneer of industrialization in Bangladesh and the visionary of progressive old Dhaka. He was recognized as an icon for people of different professions from different walks of life in Bangladesh. He created the Anwar Group family of 18,000 employees.

To carry forward the ideals, philosophy, and legacy left by him, the current Chairman, Mr. Manwar Hossain, is leading the Anwar Group along with the Vice Chairman, Mr. Hossain Mehmood, and the Group Managing Director, Mr. Hossain Khaled.

The event ended with prayers and a commemoration of Anwar Hossain’s unending and unwavering contribution to the development and progress of the country and nation.

Mr. Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Industries, along with Mr. Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Mayor, Dhaka South City Corporation, Qamrul Islam, MP Anwar Group Chairman Mr. Manwar Hossain, Vice Chairman Mr. Hossain Mehmood, and Group Managing Director Mr. Hossain Khaled, were also present at the event.
