The remittance service of Al-Arafah Islami Bank was inaugurated in October 2023. Farman R Chowdhury, the Managing Director and CEO, graced the event as the chief guest, held at the bank’s head office on Wednesday.
Top executives of the bank, including Shabbir Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director, and Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Syed Masudul Bari, Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Abed Ahmed Khan, Abdullah Al Mamun, and Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury, were present at the ceremony. Additionally, managers from all branches of the bank participated virtually.
During his speech, the chief guest, Farman R. Chowdhury, urged all officers and employees of the bank to encourage expatriate Bangladeshis to contribute to building a happy and prosperous country by channeling remittances through legal channels.
