Agrani SME Finance Company Limited, a non-bank financial institution owned by Agrani Bank Limited, received recognition from Bangladesh Bank as a sustainable financial institution in 2022, following similar recognition in 2021.The award was presented on Wednesday during the Sustainability Rating ceremony.

The recognition aligns with Bangladesh Bank’s sustainable rating criteria and was shared with a total of 7 banks and 4 financial institutions. The guidance of the Board of Directors and the collective and untiring efforts of the employees of Agrani SME Finance Company Limited have made this achievement possible.

The Managing Director Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, and Head of SME and Sustainable Unit Mr. Md. Muzahidul Islam Zoarder were honored by the Governor of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Abdur Rouf Talukder.

Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Nurun Nahar, Executive Director Md. Khurshid Alam, and senior officials were also present at the event.
