Agrani Bank PLC celebrated the 60th birth anniversary of Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib. Deputy Managing Director Wahida Begum paid floral tributes at Sheikh Russel’s tomb at Banani Cemetery on behalf of the bank on Wednesday.

As part of the day’s activities, the top management of Agrani Bank, led by the MD and CEO Murshedul Kabir, paid their respects to Sheikh Russel’s portrait in front of Bangabandhu’s mural installed at the bank’s head office.

A virtual discussion based on his biography was also held in the afternoon with the participation of all levels of officers and employees of the bank. Speakers paid tribute to the memory of Sheikh Russel in the discussion meeting.

At this moment, Deputy Managing Director Wahida Begum and Md. Anwarul Islam, general managers, all levels of executives, officers, employees, and leaders of various organizations of the bank were present.
