On the last working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s primary capital market, is trading negatively. In just two hours on this day, 93 crore of taka were exchanged. Meanwhile, the share prices of 134 companies dropped.
Sources state that the primary index, or “DSEX,” fell by 7 points to 5,160 points after DSE trading started on Thursday, December 26, at 12 p.m.
In addition to the primary indices, the “DSES” or Sariah index increased by 0.42 points, while the “DSE-30” index fell by 5 points. Points with 1159 and 1918, respectively, in the standings.
On the DSE, shares and units valued at Tk 93 crore were exchanged during the conversation.
181 of the traded companies experienced growth, 134 experienced declines, and 100 experienced no change.
