Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy organized the inaugural staging of ‘Unnoyon er Jonno Natok: Siddhant’ at the National Theater premises. The drama ‘Siddhant’ is scheduled for performances at various locations in the capital over the next 8 days.

On Sunday, Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky inaugurated the staging with the aim of promoting cultural awareness and mass awakening. The 30-minute drama, written and directed by Ahsan Khan, features performances by the Dhaka University Drama Society under the management of the theater and film department of the academy.

The theatrical production will run until November 25 in different venues across the capital. The play was staged at Dhaka Udyan on Sunday at 3 p.m. and is scheduled for performances in Mohammadpur, Mirpur, Dhopkhola, Aftabnagar, Uttara Diabari, and Bangabandhu Manch in Uttara on subsequent days.

The final performances will be at Maniknagar and Victoria Park on November 25 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
