A delegation from National Defence College (NDC), Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka visits Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) today, (01 July 2026). Among 105 members (Faculty, Course Members and Staff Officers) from the college participated in this program.

BARI Director General Dr. Md. Manjurul Kadir and other Directors welcomed the NDC delegation member at the time of their arrival at the institute. Later, BARI Director (Research) Dr. Faruque Ahmed gave brief PowerPoint presentation on the activities and achievements of the institute at Kazi Badruddoza auditorium, BARI. At this time, Director (Support & Services) Dr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain Molla, Director (Training and communication) Dr. Reshma Sultana , Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Habib Mohammad Naser, Director (Tuber Crops Research Center) Dr. Nirmal Kumar Dutta and Senior Scientists from various divisions/centers/section of BARI were present there also.

Later, the delegation visits various laboratories & research field in BARI and expressed their satisfaction by seeing the activities of advancement and achievements of Institute.
