Bangladesh Development Bank PLC. has officially launched the collection of subscriptions for the Universal Pension Scheme across its branch network. The Bank organised a launching & training program on Tuesday, June 09, 2026, in the boardroom. The meeting was presided over by the bank’s Managing Director and CEO Md. Jashim Uddin while Dr. Md. Suratuzzaman, Executive Chairman of the National Pension Authority, was present as chief guest. Deputy Managing Director of the bank, Parveen Akter, along with other senior executives of the bank, were also present on the occasion. From now subscription money for 04 separate schemes of the Universal Pension System can be deposited at all branches of Bangladesh Development Bank PLC.
