Janata Bank PLC has officially launched its integrated digital payment platform “JanataPay” in collaboration with St. Francis Xavier’s School and College in Dhaka and Kurigram Government College.

The service was inaugurated on Sunday at the bank’s head office by Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman. Representatives from both educational institutions, Deputy Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman, ICT Division General Manager Md. Anis, and other senior officials were also present at the ceremony.

JanataPay is an integrated digital payment platform developed by Janata Bank PLC, enabling government, private, educational, and e-commerce institutions to receive online payments easily. Customers can complete various transactions securely and conveniently through mobile applications and web browsers.

Officials said the platform aims to expand digital financial services and improve payment efficiency across multiple sectors in Bangladesh.
