B Mirror Report: Multinational company Linde Bangladesh Limited has declared a 100 percent cash dividend for the year ended December 31, 2025, significantly lower than the 4,500 percent cash dividend announced in the previous year.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the company’s board of directors held on Wednesday after reviewing the audited financial statements for the latest fiscal year, according to company sources.
For the year, the company reported a net profit of Tk 34 crore. Its consolidated earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 22.60, compared to Tk 421.94 in the previous year.
Analysis of the financials indicates that last year’s unusually high profit was driven by a one-off gain. The company clarified that in 2024, a significant portion of its hard goods business was sold, which contributed to the exceptional income recorded that year. No such gain was present in the latest financial year.
The company has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for June 10, 2026. The record date has been fixed for April 29.
