On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Janata Bank PLC organized a program on Sunday, March 8, to extend floral greetings to the female employees at the bank’s head office.

The event was held under the theme “Today’s steps to ensure justice for the future—protect the rights of women and girls.” The Chairman of the bank, Md. Fazlur Rahman, attended the program as the chief guest. The event was chaired by the Managing Director of the bank, Md. Mojibur Rahman, and was also attended by Deputy Managing Directors Kazi Abdur Rahman and Md. Faiz Alam. Female executives and officers, along with other officials of the head office, were present at the event.

In his brief speech, Chairman Md. Fazlur Rahman called for increasing the physical and mental capabilities of women in the country and encouraged greater participation in sports. Managing Director Md. Mojibur Rahman stated that Janata Bank has introduced several special services for women.
