Special Law and Order Coordination Meeting in Naogaon

Naogaon Correspondent: A special law and order coordination meeting was held in Naogaon ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election and referendum.

The meeting took place on the afternoon of February 7 (Saturday) in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer, Mohammad Saiful Islam. Police Superintendent Mohammad Tariqul Islam attended as a special guest. Also present were various officials from the district administration, the district election officer, the army camp commander, COs of the 14th and 16th Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) units, assistant returning officers (Upazila Nirbahi Officers), and officers in charge of all police stations in the district.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner and Police Superintendent discussed various important law and order issues to ensure that the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election is conducted freely, fairly, and impartially.

The 13th National Parliamentary Election is extremely important for a discrimination-free Bangladesh. To encourage voters to participate actively, there is no alternative to holding the election in a smooth, peaceful, and festive environment. A participatory election is vital for building a safe and discrimination-free Bangladesh in the future.

All individuals on duty were instructed to carry out their responsibilities carefully and properly in line with government directives. Expressing hope for a peaceful and disruption-free election, the Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Saiful Islam, emphasized that with everyone’s cooperation, the district administration and police together can conduct the election successfully and make a new mark in the history of the country.
