Janata Bank PLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) to provide services for the collection of various fees and charges of DNCC and for processing the salaries and allowances of DNCC employees.
The MoU signing ceremony was held on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, at the conference room of the Dhaka North City Corporation office. DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz and General Manager of the ICT Division of Janata Bank PLC, Mohammad Anis, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
Prior to the signing, DNCC Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Asaduzzaman and Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC, Md. Mujibur Rahman, delivered brief speeches.
Among others present at the event were General Manager of Janata Bank’s Dhaka North Divisional Office Md. Anichur Rahman Akand, Deputy General Manager of Gulshan Circle-2 Corporate Branch Ferdousi Begum, along with senior executives and officials from both organizations.
