Rubel Aziz Becomes AmbuFast Chairman

AmbuFast, a technology-driven emergency ambulance service and an initiative of SafeCare24/7 Medical Services Limited, has announced the appointment of prominent industrialist and corporate leader Mr. Rubel Aziz as its Chairman. Alongside assuming the leadership role, Mr. Aziz has also invested in the company as a shareholder, marking a significant development in Bangladesh’s emergency medical and ambulance service sector.

Mr. Rubel Aziz currently serves as Vice Chairman of The City Bank PLC and Chairman of its Executive Committee. He previously held the position of Chairman of The City Bank PLC. In addition, he is the Managing Director of Partex Group, one of the country’s largest and most diversified conglomerates. His extensive experience spans banking and finance, energy, manufacturing, aviation, shipping, and real estate.

Industry experts see Mr. Aziz’s leadership and investment as a milestone that could usher in a new era for emergency medical services in Bangladesh.

AmbuFast aims to ensure fast, reliable, and affordable emergency medical services through a fully integrated, technology-based platform. Its vision is to establish a nationwide digital emergency healthcare network that serves both urban and rural populations.

As part of this mission, AmbuFast is set to officially launch its mobile application in January. The app will enable users to locate nearby ambulances, make instant bookings, track vehicles in real time, and access emergency support. The platform will also help ambulance owners and drivers modernize and streamline their operations.

Beyond being an ambulance service, AmbuFast positions itself as a humanitarian initiative. The platform will include donation-based medical assistance for underprivileged patients, offering options such as free ambulance services, fundraising for medical expenses, and complimentary mortuary ambulance services for families in distress.

Commenting on his new role, Mr. Rubel Aziz said, “Ensuring rapid medical services during emergencies is a humanitarian responsibility. I believe AmbuFast will bring trust and efficiency to the country’s emergency healthcare system through technology, professional management, and good governance.”

AmbuFast Founder and Managing Director Mehedi Hasan Kiran said the organization began with the belief that timely access to the right ambulance service can save lives. “With the leadership and guidance of Mr. Rubel Aziz, we strongly believe AmbuFast will reach new heights and contribute to sustainable change in Bangladesh’s emergency healthcare system,” he added.

AmbuFast authorities expressed optimism that the combination of experienced corporate leadership and a technology-driven vision will help set new standards in ambulance and emergency medical services, creating a long-term positive impact on the country’s healthcare sector.
