Discussion Held on Building a Youth-Driven New Bangladesh

Mrinal Tangail Correspondent: A discussion titled “Come, Let’s Change the Country, Change the World” was held in Tangail to emphasize the creation of a youth-driven new Bangladesh. The event took place on Monday, 17 November, in the auditorium of Bindubasini Government Boys’ High School, organized by the District Information Office.

Joining the program online as the chief guest, Mohammad Abdul Jalil, Director General of the Department of Mass Communication under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, delivered a speech. Addressing the students, he said that students play the most significant role in nation-building. “Today’s students are the future of tomorrow,” he added, urging everyone to come forward with honesty to build the nation.

Special guests who spoke at the event included District Education Officer Rebeka Sultana, Headteacher of Bindubasini Government Boys’ High School Md. Tofazzal Hossain, District Children’s Affairs Officer Khandaker Nipon Hossain, and retired headteacher Abdul Karim.

The session was presided over by District Information Office Senior Information Officer Tahlima Jannat.

A large number of students, along with journalists from print and electronic media, were present at the discussion.
