B Mirror Desk: The American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) hosted AmCham an Wellness Talk, bannered “Smarter Ways to Prevent and Treat Heart Diseases in 2025.”
IHH Healthcare Singapore (Mount Elizabeth Hospital Singapore) Bangladesh Office was the wellness partner in this event, held at the Westin Hotel on Saturday.
Syed Ershad Ahmed, President of AmCham Bangladesh, gave the opening remarks,
emphasizing that while AmCham remains committed to strengthening U.S.–Bangladesh
economic collaboration and advancing policy advocacy for its members, it also recognizes the
importance of promoting the health and well-being of the business leaders who drive AmCham’s mission forward.
Dr. Pipin Kojodjojo, Senior Consultant, Cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore,
shared an insightful presentation on heart health and discussed key research findings,
diagnostic methods, and effective treatment approaches, followed by an interactive Q & A
session.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Zahid Hassan Khan, Director,
IHH Healthcare Singapore (Mount Elizabeth Hospital Singapore), Bangladesh Office.
The event was also attended by Md Nurul Islam, Former AmCham President. Md.
Ariful Hoque, Director General, BIDA, along with AmCham Executive Committee, AmCham
members, and senior executives from IHH Healthcare Singapore, Bangladesh Office.
