The Khulna Divisional Half-Yearly Business Branch Managers’ Conference 2025 of Janata Bank PLC was held on Sunday, October 12, at a local conference center.
The event was graced by the Chairman of the bank, Mr. Md. Fazlur Rahman, as the Chief Guest. Managing Director Md. Mozibur Rahman and Deputy Managing Director Md. Golam Mortuza were present as Special Guests.
The conference was presided over by Abul Kalam Azad, General Manager (In-Charge) of the Khulna Divisional Office. Also present were Company Secretary of the Head Office Md. Abdul Alim Khan, Deputy General Manager of Business Development and Marketing Department Md. Riaz Hossain Ferdous, and Deputy General Manager of Public Relations Department Khalilur Rahman.
During the conference, the business performance up to September 2025 of a total of 90 branches, including 6 areas and 2 corporate branches under the Khulna Divisional Office, was reviewed.
The Managing Director provided necessary guidance to the attending area heads and branch managers. He emphasized the importance of collecting deposits at low interest rates, increasing deposit accounts, expanding CMSME loans, and putting special focus on recovering defaulted loans.
