Community Bank Bangladesh and Medbox Solution Ltd Sign MoU to Launch Embedded Finance Program for Pharmacies
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and Medbox Solution Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to introduce an Embedded Finance Program designed to provide pharmacies with seamless access to working capital.
As the exclusive financing partner, Community Bank will offer quick, data-driven credit facilities to merchants on the Medbox B2B e-commerce platform, removing traditional barriers to finance and enabling pharmacies to grow their businesses efficiently.

Also present at the signing were Dr. Md. Ariful Islam, Head of Corporate Banking & Head of Business (Branch), and Mr. Md. Mamun ur Rahman, Head of ADC & MD’s Coordination Team from Community Bank, alongside the Medbox leadership team including Kazi Ashikur Rasul, Ahmed Arefeen Raafi, Md. Aminur Rashid, Md. Nazmul Ahsan, and H.M Asif Imtiaz Alam.
The partnership will begin with a Pilot Program, paving the way for a full rollout to strengthen financial inclusion and efficiency in Bangladesh’s healthcare sector.
