The Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) distinctive way of living can guarantee universal peace and well-being: Head of the Department.

According to Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, in today’s conflict-ridden world, peace, justice, and welfare may be guaranteed by adhering to the Sunnah, global teachings, and the distinctive life philosophy of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

“The great ideals and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in religious and worldly life are the best to follow and emulate for the people of the world, and in this lies endless goodness, success, and peace for Muslims,” he said in a statement delivered on the occasion of the “Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH)” today, Friday.

Noting that Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), which commemorates the birth and death of the world’s greatest great human being, the last Prophet and Messenger Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), is a very holy and glorious day for Muslims all over the world, the Chief Advisor extended his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to the countrymen and the entire Muslim Ummah on this occasion.

He said, ‘Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was ‘Rahmatulliil Alamin’, meaning a mercy for the entire world. Allah Almighty sent him for the guidance and salvation of all mankind. In the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), ‘O Prophet, We have sent you only as a mercy to the worlds’ (Surah Al-Anbiya, verse: 107). Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) came to the world as a ‘Sirajam Munira’ i.e. a shining lamp. He came with the message of peace, progress and goodness to liberate people from the darkness of all kinds of superstition, injustice, slavery and sin and show them the path of light.’ The Chief Advisor said, ‘For his infinite loyalty and love for Allah, incomparable character traits, immense kindness and great qualities, the life of the Holy Quran has been called ‘Uswatun Hasanah’ i.e. the most beautiful ideal. The impeccable and beautiful teachings and ideals that he has left for the world humanity will show the way to liberation for the people of every era and century.’

Wishing that the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) will bring immense peace and prosperity among all, he said, ‘May the unity of the entire Muslim Ummah be further consolidated. I pray that by nurturing and following the great life ideals of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the overall welfare and liberation of our lives in this life and the hereafter will be ensured. Amen.’ BSS
