50 Youths Secure Police Jobs on Merit in Tangail

Mrinal Tangail Correspondent: Fifty individuals secured positions in the police force in Tangail based on merit, with a government-established salary of 120 taka. The official announcement was made by the Tangail Police Superintendent and the Bangladesh Police Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) Recruitment Board at the Police Lines Multipurpose Shed on the evening of Monday, August 31, 2025.

President Mizanur Rahman, along with Mahbubur Rahman, a member of the Recruitment Board for the Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic) position in Gazipur and Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) in Bangladesh Police, June-2025, addressed the gathering at that time.

Additionally, Md. Munadir Islam Chowdhury, a member of the Recruitment Board for the Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) position in Dhaka and Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) in Bangladesh Police, June-2025 Tangail, was present. It is noteworthy that the recruitment announcement for the Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) position in Bangladesh Police was released in June-2025. Following the preliminary screening conducted by the Police Headquarters, a total of 3312 candidates, comprising 3073 males and 239 females, successfully passed among those who applied in the Tangail district.

Subsequently, after conducting oral tests for 86 candidates who had cleared the last written examination, it was revealed that 50 candidates qualified for the TRC position, with 10 others placed on a waiting list. After the results were declared, the Superintendent of Police congratulated the successful candidates with flowers and distributed sweets. The candidates expressed their joy at being selected in the final merit-based selection phase and pledged to serve the country with dedication.
