The Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO) meeting was held at the bank’s head office on Thursday, July 24, under the chairmanship of Janata Bank PLC’s Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman. The bank’s Deputy Managing Directors Md. Golam Mortuza, Md. Fayez Alam, Md. Nazrul Islam and Md. Ashraful Alam, along with the General Managers and concerned Deputy General Managers were present in the meeting. At that time, Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman determined the action plan in light of the current situation and gave instructions on various necessary issues including increasing low-interest deposits, auto challans, foreign remittances and emphasizing on the recovery and reduction of classified loans, recovery of defaulted loans.
