Govt established a new pay commission

The interim government of Bangladesh has created a new pay commission for its employees and officials, operating under the national pay scale, led by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.

This decision was made during a meeting of the advisory council on Thursday. The chief adviser’s press office provided this information in an official statement.

Former Finance Secretary Zakir Ahmed Khan will lead the pay commission, which is expected to deliver its report within six months, according to the statement.
