Janata Bank PLC has recently achieved the PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) Compliance Certificate, a global certification for ensuring security in card business operations and customer data protection for the second time. Janata Bank is the first state-owned bank to achieve this certificate. On this occasion, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the bank’s head office, Moshiul Islam, CEO of Consulting Service Partner EIC Limited, handed over the certificate to Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman in a grand ceremony. At that time, general managers of the bank’s head office and other executive officers were present.
