On the first working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market, is trading positively. In just two hours on this day, 162 crore of taka were exchanged. Meanwhile, the share prices of 160 companies increase.
Sources state that the main index, or “DSEX,” increased by 5 points to 5,179 points after DSE trading started on Sunday, February 08, till 12 p.m.
In addition to the other index, the “DSES” or Sariah index decreased by 1 points, while the “DSE-30” index down by 1 points with 1146 and 1913, respectively, in the standings.
On the DSE, shares and units valued at Tk 162 crore were exchanged during the conversation.
160 of the traded companies experienced growth, 178 experienced declines, and 76 experienced no change.
