On the first working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market, is trading positively. In just two hours on this day, 138 crore of taka were exchanged. Meanwhile, the share prices of 265 companies increase.
Sources state that the main index, or “DSEX,” rose by 25 points to 5,209 points after DSE trading started on Sunday, December 29, at 12 p.m.
In addition to the other index, the “DSES” or Sariah index increased by 4 points, while the “DSE-30” index rose by 9 points with 1170 and 1935, respectively, in the standings.
On the DSE, shares and units valued at Tk 138 crore were exchanged during the conversation.
265 of the traded companies experienced growth, 59 experienced declines, and 68 experienced no change.
