Social Islami Bank PLC secured second position in foreign remittance earnings in the country for the fiscal year 2023-2024. In an event organized by the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment on the occasion of International Migrants Day and National Expatriates Day 2024, Hon’ble Advisor to the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Dr. Asif Nazrul handed over the award to Managing Director (Acting) of the Bank Mohammad Forkanullah on 18 December 2024. Hon’ble Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain was present as special guest at the program. Social Islami Bank achieved this honor in recognition of its contribution to the remittance inflow in the country.
