On the first working day of the week, the country’s main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended trading with a positive trend in the price index. On this day, the main index of the DSE increased by 73 points. However, the volume of transactions decreased from the previous working day.

According to the source, on Sunday (December 15), the main index of the DSE ‘DSEX’ increased by 73.43 points. Currently, the index is at 5,178 points.
In addition, another index of the DSE ‘DSES’ increased by 12.40 points to 1,152 points and the ‘DS-30′ index increased by 26.42 points to 1,908 points.
Today, shares and units worth Tk 304 crore 10 lakh 25 thousand were traded on the DSE. On the previous working day, Tk 351 crore 59 lakh 37 thousand were traded.
A total of 390 companies’ shares and units changed hands on the DSE on Sunday. Among the companies participating in the transaction, the prices of 232 companies increased, while the prices of 89 companies decreased. In addition, the prices of shares and units of 69 companies remained unchanged.
