The index fell on the last working day despite the increase in transactions

On the last working day of the week, the country’s main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended trading with a mixed trend in the price index. The main index fell by 5 points. On the previous working day, the main index rose by 54 points.

According to sources, on Thursday (November 28), the main index of the DSE ‘DSEX’ fell by 5.34 points. The index is currently standing at 5,192 points.

In addition, another index of the DSE ‘DSES’ rose by 31.31 points to 1,166 points and the ‘DS-30′ index fell by 1.19 points to 1,916 points.

Shares and units worth Tk 473.75 crore were traded on the DSE today. On the previous working day, Tk 451.16 crore was traded.

A total of 390 companies’ shares and units changed hands on the DSE on Thursday. Among the companies participating in the transaction, the prices of 125 companies increased, while the prices of 196 companies decreased. In addition, the prices of shares and units of 69 companies remained unchanged.
