On the last working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended with a decline in all the indices. At the same time, the share price of 246 companies participating in the transaction fell. The volume of transactions has also decreased compared to the previous working day.
According to sources, DSE’s main index ‘DSEX’ fell by 30.74 points on Thursday (November 7). Currently the index stands at 5 thousand 316 points.
Besides, another index of DSE ‘DSES’ decreased by 4.66 points to 1187 points and ‘DS-30’ index decreased by 2.21 points to 1965 points.
Shares and units worth Tk. 541 crore 55 lakh 06 thousand were traded in DSE today. 651 crore 20 lakh 22 thousand taka was traded on the previous working day.
A total of 395 shares and units of companies were exchanged in DSE that day. Among the institutions that participated in the transaction, the prices of 97 companies increased, on the contrary, the prices of 246 companies decreased. Besides, the share and unit price of 52 companies remained unchanged.
