Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. organises a Financial Literacy workshop on Digital Transaction at Tangail Branch

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. organized a day-long financial literacy workshop on the use and benefits of digital transactions at the Bank’s Tangail branch on 21st September 2024. The Director of Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank Iqbal Mohasin was present as Chief guest in the workshop.

The Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam was present as Special Guest. The Head of Risk Management Department and Financial Inclusion Unit of the Bank Abu Shayem discussed in details about the use and benefits of digital  transactions. In the workshop, the Head of Payment and Settlement Department of Bank’s Corporate Head Office Abdul Quddus, the Head of Human Resources Department (CC) Mr. A. K. M. Hasan Rahim, the Manager of Tangail Branch & Zonal Head of the Bank Abdul Khaleque and other  officials of the bank were present.

The clients and officials of the Bank also participated in the  workshop. The speakers presented detail feature of different digital product on various aspects of digital banking services in the day-long workshop. The Speakers also expressed the digital transactions will save customers time and make their transactions more risk-free.
