Rupali Bank decided to give out more shares of their company to their shareholders as a dividend.

The regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has approved the 5 percent stock dividend declared for the shareholders in the board meeting of the listed Rupali Bank Plc. This information is known from DSE sources.

The bank had declared a 5 percent dividend to shareholders for the fiscal year ended September 31, 2023.

As per law, stock dividends cannot be issued without the approval of BSEC. In the case of stock dividend approval, BSEC verifies the justification of the issue.
