11 districts in the country are affected by floods. The number of flood affected people in these districts is about 45 lakh. At the moment, 8 lakh 87 thousand 629 families are without water. And 13 people have died in this flood so far.

It was informed in the press conference that the flood affected districts are Feni, Comilla, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Brahmanbaria, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Khagrachari, Sylhet, Moulvibazar and Habiganj.
So far four people have died in Comilla, three in Cox’s Bazar, two in Chittagong, one in Feni, one in Noakhali, one in Laxmipur and one in Brahmanbaria.
Referring to the forecast information of the Meteorological Department, Kamrul Hasan, secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, said that the flood situation is improving slowly.
Kamrul Hasan said that 1 lakh 88 thousand 739 people have taken shelter in shelters so far. So far 3 crore 52 lakh cash, 20 thousand 150 metric tons of rice, 15 thousand packets of dry food have been allocated to the flood affected areas.
