Union Bank held a financial signature campaign titled ‘Increasing social awareness to send expatriate income through legal channels’

Recently, a campaign program on financial literacy was held in Maulvi Bazar, Sylhet, organized by the Financial Literacy Wing of the Shari’ah-based Union Bank Ltd. Md. Golam Mostafa, Supervisor of Financial Literacy Wing of the bank’s head office was present as the chief guest in the event. Humayan Kabir, Head of Zindabazar Branch, Sylhet was present as special guest. Branch heads of different branches of Sylhet, local dignitaries and marginalized professionals were also present. Discussions and videos were shown on the importance of expatriate income, benefits of remittance of expatriate income through banking channels, disadvantages of remittance through hundi.
