NCC Bank has distributed agricultural materials at free of cost to the marginal farmers of Boalkhali, Chattogram as part of its corporate social responsibility and conducted Financial Literacy activities.
Chairman of NCC Bank Md. Abul Bashar as chief guest and Past Chairman & Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board S.M. Abu Mohsin as special honorable guest distributed various types of seeds, saplings, fertilizer & pesticides among 500 marginal farmers of Boalkhali held at Kodurkhil United Muslim High School premises on Saturday (05/08/2023). Managing Director & CEO of NCC Bank Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid presided over the ceremony while Chairman of Yakub Group M. Yakub Ali, Chairman of Kadurkhil Union Parishad Mohammad Shafiul Azam Shefu, Head Master of Kadurkhil United Muslim High School Mohammad Eliash, Deputy Managing Director of NCC Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan and SEVP & Company Secretary Md. Monirul Alam graced the occasion as special guests. Besides, SVP of CRM Division Muhammad Shahidul Islam, VP & Head of Security & Logistics Md. Ghalib Asadullah and other officers of head office along with Manager & Officers of Chattogram region branches of NCC Bank were also present on the ceremony. Chairman of NCC Bank Md. Abul Bashar mention that through this agriculture material distribution program marginal farmer of this area will be benefited. He said NCC Bank is not only making profit but also contributing to corporate social responsibility. In this context, NCC Bank has been distributing various types of seeds, saplings, fertilizer & pesticides at free of cost in different region of the country
under special CSR program to increase agricultural production of the country.
Past Chairman & Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board S.M. Abu Mohsin said that, NCC Bank is doing banking business with full of trust & confidence towards its customers since its inception.
He mentioned that depositing money in NCC bank is safe & secure in this critical economic condition. Finally he hoped that, NCC Bank will provide agricultural machinery as well as advance technology equipment to the farmers at free of cost to develop our total agricultural production in near future.
Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid said that among others, NCC bank is also working for food security of our country as announced by Hon’ble Prime Minister. He hoped that in this continuation NCC Bank is supporting to the marginal farmers to cultivate every single inch of land across the country as a part of social responsibility which will play significant role in the economic development of the country. He added that, NCC Bank is also working for Financial Literacy activities to include underprivileged & marginal people in the financial sector as per Bangladesh Bank
guideline under Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Bangladesh Government.
