Government appointed Major General Md. Hossein Al Morshed PSC as the new Director General (DG) of the National Security Intelligence Directorate (NSI). The announcement came on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued an official order confirming the appointment. The order specifies that Major General Md. Hossein Al Morshed, an army officer with the designation BA-4314, will be transferred to the Prime Minister’s Office to assume his new role as NSI Director General.

The order, signed by the Deputy Secretary of the President, Abdullah Arif Mohammad, emphasizes immediate implementation in the public interest.
