The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) and bKash Limited was held on Thursday in order to achieve growth in the foreign remittance business by ensuring better customer service.

Under this agreement, Bangladeshi expatriates from all over the world can send remittances through BKB to the beneficiaries’ bKash accounts instantly. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Krishi Bank, Nasiruzzaman, and the Managing Director, Shawkat Ali Khan, were present on the occasion.

The Deputy General Manager of the International Trade Division, Md. Mostafizur Rahman, and the Chief Commercial Officer, Ali Ahmmed, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. Deputy Managing Director Chanu Gopal Ghosh, Khan Iqubal Hossain, and Salma Banu, general managers and deputy general managers of the head office, along with other high officials of bKash Limited, were also present on the occasion.
