Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC’s Sylhet, Mymensingh, Barishal, and Rangpur Zones organized a webinar on “Compliance of Shari’ah in Banking Operations” together on Saturday, August 19, 2023, virtually.

Director of the bank Mohammad Joynal Abedin addressed the webinar as chief guest, while Md. Altaf Hossain, Additional Managing Director of the bank, addressed as a special guest. Mufti Mohammad Muhibbullahil Baqee, Member of the Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of the bank, was addressed as a key discussant. Md. Shamsuddoha, Executive Vice President of the Shari’ah Secretariat, also addressed the focal points. 

The discussion was presided over by Md. Anisul Haque, Head of Mymensingh Zone. Md. Abdus Sobhan, Head of Barishal Zone, delivered the welcome speech. Executives and officials from four zones attended the webinar.
