Int. Housekeeping Week celebrated at Ascott Palace

BM Desk:

Hotel Ascott Palace Dhaka started to celebrate ‘International Housekeeping Week’ on Sunday to appreciate the unsung heroes of their property.

Every year, housekeeping week is celebrated from September 10th to September 16th around the world in the hotel industry.

Housekeeping Day aims to highlight the unseen efforts that go into this profession. Many are unaware of what it takes to do the job of housekeeping and what makes them keep going.

The daylong ceremony was for their housekeeping team to recognize their dedication and hard work, followed by interactive games, an award-giving ceremony, and inspiring words from the management team.

Hotel Manager Mr. Dipankar Das Milton, along with all the HODs, inaugurated the ceremony, stating that the department is the heart of the house.

Mr. Suman Saha (HOSM) stated that only the housekeeping team makes Ascott Palace better and ensures the best experience for guests than any other hotel. Their dedication and efforts always give the guests the most comfortable and luxurious stay.

Mr. Mohsin Talukdar, Executive Housekeeper, arranged gifts for all the associates and an employee appreciation award for the most dedicated ones among the team.

Also, a cleanup session of the entire hotel premises and its surroundings has been arranged by the team. The day ended with treating the employees to refreshments in a joyful environment. As the housekeepers are the ones who do the toughest job, the hotel wanted to go above and beyond to make them feel special and appreciated.
