Aftab Hossain Momin: Assistant Commissioner of the District Administration Mohammad Jahangir Alam conducted a mobile court and imposed the fine on Sunday afternoon.

According to sources, a team led by Senior Assistant Commissioner of the District Administration Md Jahangir Alam and Assistant Director of the Department of Environment Tanvir Hossain conducted a mobile court drive at the Ayan Plastic Factory located on Rampur Shaheen Academy Road in Feni town. 7 tons of polythene bags were seized for producing government-banned polythene/polypropylene shopping bags during this drive. Owner of the Ayan Plastic Factory, Nazmul Islam was fined 25 thousand taka at the moment. The lab attendant of the Department of Environment Saiful Karim, the sample collector Jahangir Alam and the district police cooperated were present in the drive. At that time, leaflets were distributed to make everyone aware of not using polythene.
The mobile court said that such activities will continue to protect the environment.
