Foreign investors have become active in stock markets in the country as the turnover of foreign investors increased by 91 per cent as compared to the same period of the previous month – July 1-15. The growth rate is 89 per cent compared to the same period in 2019.
The first half of this month, foreign investors transacted 455 crore 88 lakh 80 thousand taka in the market. The amount in the first half of July was 238crore 63 lakh taka. As a result, in the first half of this month, the transaction increased to 217crore 25 lakh 80 thousand taka or 91 per cent.
Meanwhile, in the last half of July (July 17-31), foreign investors had a turnover of 283.60 crore taka. As a result, in the first half of this month, the transaction increased by 172 crore 88 lakh 20 thousand taka or 61 per cent.
On the other hand, in the first half of August 2019, foreign investors had a turnover of 241 crore 73 lakh 90 thousand taka. As a result, in the first half of August this year, the transaction of foreigners has increased by 214 crore 14 lakh 90 thousand taka or 89 per cent.
